On March 6, 2010 the Foothill Foundation hosted a casino-themed fundrasising event at the Bakersfield Museum of Art to benefit the International Baccalaureate program of Foothill High School. The event was made possible by donations from numerous local businesses, such as American Business Machines, Moo Creamery, Coconut Joe’s, The Bakersfield Museum of Art, Thomas P. Thank you to Mrs. Ball and Ms. Bishop for completing the first round of IB oral exams this week. Spanish A2 and French B will begin oral exams next week. Students, please be sure to arrive on time for your oral exam appointment. We have a record 139 students testing in a foreign language this year, so our exam schedule is packed!
All AVID/IB seniors who have applied to UC Riverside and/or Cal Poly Pomona are invited to join us for a fieldtrip to these two campuses on Saturday, March 13th, 2010. Permission slips are available from Mrs. Farley in D-7. The first nine students to return completed slips will be allowed to attend.
